The Baleen Bash is the Pacific Rim Whale Festival’s signature closing party! Every year, we bring artists to the West Coast who bring energetic sets to get everyone dancing and ready for Spring! This event always sells out, so make sure to get your tickets now.

For 2026 we have folk/rock legends Shred Kelly headlining, this eclectic 5 piece band will get you dancing and singing along (who doesn’t love a banjo!?). This will be their first performance in Tofino, but they have graced many festivals across Canada so know how to work the crowds.

Supporting Shred Kelly will be Hyaenas, a 4-piece Alt-Pop-Punk band embodying the energy and ferocity of their animal namesake. They draw inspiration from 80’s icons The Go-Go’s. Make sure to let your hair down for this performance!

Closing the night and making sure you are dancing right up until 1am will be local favourite DJ Nesto!
