39th Annual Whale Fest
Pacific Rim Whale Festival continues to grow as a vibrant celebration of coastal learning, conservation, and community connection. Across recent festivals, we’ve packed venues, welcomed thousands of guests near and far, and expanded our reach with inspiring new collaborations, proving that even a bit of West Coast rain can’t dampen the energy! Recent Festival highlights & milestones:
30 events over 7 days, all at full capacity
Welcomed over 3,000 guests across 12 local venues
Hosted 27 guest presenters sharing expertise, stories, and science
Took the ʔiisaak Pledge and became a Tribal Park Allies Partner
Funded 1 student place on the Raincoast Education Society’s Marine Mammals of the West Coast Course
Delivered our first Whale ID Workshop for 10 youth, in collaboration with the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust and Whales of Clayoquot and Barkley
Introduced new partnerships, including nature journaling sessions, expanding creative ways to connect with the natural world
